enter uncertainty:

the first thing we did after getting the news was arrange to drop the kids off at Paul's parents house and go to the temple. which happened to work out really nice cause his sister's in town with her kids so Keith got to spend some time with them and they got to see the baby, etc.

the temple session was quite full because there were women going through to get ready for weddings. one was doing her own endowment, and the other was just doing the session with the veil part for herself. the best part is that the girl who was going through for herself i've known since she was just a little thing and it was just a coincidence that we happened to be there the same night.

it was a good session and Paul and i were able to do something contemplation about our new status as unemployed. i think it hasn't really set in for either of us since he went to work thursday and yesterday and is going monday too. he still has keys and all that jazz. he feels like it's not really going to hit him until he walks out for good. we are both pretty calm about the situation and have faith that this isn't going to break us. things will work out, somehow, some way.

so, anyway, our next big question is "what now??" do we find something to help us just get by and try to wait around until Matt has work for Paul to bring him back? or do we move on? that's the decision we need to make. and right now, i have no idea. I firmly believe that everything happens for a reason. i've always believed it. so what we have to decide is, has paul gotten what he needed to get from Matt or is this just a temporary trial that has nothing to do with the company? Matt is a great company, but there are certainly other great companies out there. he's made excellent contacts there and has learned a lot in the 9 months+ that he's been there and has several totally different projects to add to his resume.

hmmmmm, we have a lot of praying and contemplation to do. if you think of us when you pray, say a little something for us, we'd really appreciate it.

You've been in our prayers and will continue to be. I hope something comes along soon. We should all do a session together sometime. Maybe with Mom and Chuck, too. That would be fun. I haven't been since I was about 7 months pregnant.
